Size of the grains 

On an Average of 2.5mm–3.5mm .

Preferred in making flour and other Value added products, as the carbohydrate content will be high in these bigger and even sized grains.
Finely graded and are free from immature and small sized grains of size below 2mm in diameter.

On an Average of 1.5 mm – 3.5 mm.

• Preferred in making flour and other Value added products, as the carbohydrate content will be high in these bigger and even sized grains.
